Newsflash! The Duke's Students use Red Rocket as an Art Gallery! Funds raised for charity ensue!

So some of the kids @ the Duke of Connaught school (just a block away) collaborated with us @ Red Rocket and as a team raised $830 for charity in auctioning off artwork that the kids created. Some pretty talented stuff here. As well as art there were little nibblies prepared also by the kids as well as

T-shirts and poetry books.

...and of course, coffee. There was coffee.

All in all, everyone had a great time.
Monies raised will go towards the
"Charity of Hope Project" helping orphans in Africa.

Art on our walls can be viewed all summer long.

Ok...if it's a "school" of fish or a "flock" of seagulls, what do you call a bunch of macaroons?

..."Endangered", of course!
Because they taste yummy and will be eaten up tout de suite!
(that's like French and stuff for real fast)
...and here's our "endangerment" of macaroons.
Just like little soldiers all lined up.
Waiting to be eaten...
...nom nom nom nom nom...

I hope Natalie likes chocolate and cherries and buttercream and colourful little paper cups...

This is Natalie...

Today is her Birfday...

...and these are the wee little dark chocolate cupcakes with
sweet buttercream and fresh bing cherries that
we made for her.

She doesn't know about them yet.
Shhhhh...it's a surprise!

Happy Birfday Natalie!

And you thought we came up with strange flavour combinations...

I found this little gem in the local T&T
(great food mart, btw)
and it actually tastes like cheese and white chocolate.

I find it disturbing yet oddly compelling.

Love the packaging.

I particularly like the "European Cheese" flavour...
because we all know there's only one cheese in Europe.

And that's Babybel.
