Art of the rocket.

If you happened to see your neighbours wandering the streets, covered in paint splatters, then you know this weekend kicked off  ART OF THE DANFORTH - a community festival that features a variety of public art projects, installations, and activities. 

The festival runs from May 20th - June 10th and is absolutely free. Over 50 public and commercial venues along the Danforth, from Greenwood to Cedarvale, are participating.

Red Rocket Coffee at 1364 Danforth is part of the fun! 

We are featuring art by the lovely Anne-Marie Olczak.

We're open Victoria Day!

We'd never let you down, our wonderful, fun-to-hang-out-with, loyal patrons of RRC. All of our locations will be open on Monday, May 21st so wherever the day takes you, we're there for you.

Our holiday hours are as follows:

DANFORTH    8am to 5pm

WELLESLEY   8am to 5pm

LOGAN         10am to 4pm

SERIOUS ABOUT MUFFINS

I kinda think a muffin is a cupcake in disguise, but either way...
They are delicious and we are serious about them.

Every day we serve up freshly baked Carrot Zuchinni Bran Muffins, Breakfast Corn Muffins, and if you enjoying mixing up your breakfast routine, we have a muffin-of-the-day. 

(Which is usually a Caramel Apple Crumble Muffin or a Raspberry Crumble Muffin.)

Want to have your cake and eat a muffin too?

 We've got mini cupcakes on the weekends!

They are a dollar!
And YES we are open all weekend.

Every morning he sits pretty on our red bench and catches up on the neighbourhood gossip.

Puppy Love

The best part about working at a café is watching a community grow around something as simple as a cup of joe. Smiling "regulars" are what make waking up at 5am a whole lot easier. And over time, some people (and furry people) have even become my friends.

Meet Cao. A new friend I made during my last shift. 

Who is your best friend? 

Bring in a picture of your mutt and we'll display it on the counter as our "pup of the week" to promote *Lunar Bites - a doggy biscotti created by our crafty kitchen staff. I give them a round of "appaws".
